Fishing only in the morning, Michael Asherson’s repeated his success of a couple of days ago with a fine 16lb cock fish from the Wallace Pool on an orange flamethrower tube fly, a winning combination in dropping water! The second rod also caught an 8lb salmon from Wallace and 4lb sea trout both on fly. The river dropped and cleared throughout the day following the heavy rain of the previous day.
